mj's dead if anyone doesnt know. so like one of the millions, i went to go search bout him.
cuz i realised, i've always known him to be a music legend. but like, i never really knew anything bout him. and i realised. shit. he is really. really. really. really. great.
all his child molesting accusations and the media destroying him, made me feel for him.
he was forced into the showbiz, and the media like a destructive parasite, never let him go. he never had a childhood. how sad is that. adored by millions, loved by hundreds of thousands, known by none.
his songs like, "we are the world", "billie jean", "smooth criminal", "black or white", "you are not alone", "man in the mirror", "thriller", "beat it" and "heal the world" really made me feel like there's a hole in the world. lol. i seem to be exaggerating but that's how i feel. no matter how screwed up he seemed to be, it is undeniable that he impacted the entire world in such a huge way. his music, his charities, his influence. amazing.
i admit i never really liked him when he was alive. but i realised it was cuz of how bad the media made him to seem. when i actually go find out about him, he cuts out such a sad, lonely, empty, yet immensely talented a figure.
people might blame his dad, whom i really think is an asshole, blame everyone who made him die such a sudden death. but me. nope.
i wouldnt want mj anyway else. if he was anything else, would he have produced such soulful and tears inducing music? MJ is truly a legend. i know elvis was great. but damn, mj in a league of his own.
sha'mone. give it up for a great person, a person who felt so lost and alone, and to have walked in the world and concretized his footsteps in such a compelling, momentous and sententious way.
Physically dead. Immortal in his music, and in the lives of his adoring fans.
